About Andrea 

Andrea Weaver has served as Union County Auditor since March 2011, with over 14 years of hands-on experience managing the county's fiscal and assessment responsibilities. As Chief Fiscal Officer, she oversees financial accounts for all county boards, departments, and agencies, ensuring transparency, efficiency, and accountability. As Chief Assessor, she determines fair and accurate property values for taxation, impacting residents and supporting equitable community growth. Her expertise has earned her key appointments, including to the Ohio State Audit Board, and leadership positions such as co-chair of the County Auditors' Association of Ohio's Property Tax and Valuation Committee. A Miami University graduate, Andrea is dedicated to upholding high standards of public service for Union County's future.

Accomplishments and Record

Exemplary Financial Audits: Andrea Weaver led Union County to multiple Ohio Auditor of State Awards with Distinction, showcasing consistent clean, accurate, transparent financial reporting that manages taxpayer dollars responsibly.

Statewide Leadership in Auditing: Served as 2021 President of the County Auditors Association of Ohio (CAAO), guiding statewide policy and best practices, and co-chaired the Property Tax and Valuation Committee for fair assessments.

Excellence in Financial Reporting: Earned the Government Finance Officers Association (GFOA) Certificate of Achievement for Excellence in Financial Reporting on the county's Comprehensive Annual Financial Report, upholding high fiscal accountability and disclosure standards.

Dedicated Public Service: Over 14 years as Union County Auditor, Andrea manages fiscal operations, property valuations, and budget commissions, optimizing resources and correcting errors to boost local service funding.
